Humble Motors is one of the latest car makers to join the electric car bandwagon with a California-based startup and an upcoming electric SUV that has recently appeared in concept form. Known as the humble one, the SUV stands out from the crowd because it uses technology that is not currently being used in the mainstream.
Humble One uses solar energy to generate power for its electric motor which will give the car a range of about 96 km. Humble believes that the future of solar mobility and solar-powered EVs will be the next big step in tackling carbon neutrality.
Although the SUV has only been released as an idea, here is a list of the top 5 things you need to know about the Humble One, take a look –

The SUV will produce energy at a range of about 96 km per day using solar panels. Although solar energy alone would be really effective for everyday travel, it is not yet clear how the source will provide energy in other climates.

The SUV has a columnless door, while it gets a conventional wing mirror. There are also black alloy wheels with air scoops and styling on the side The tires seem to pop out of the body of the car, but will be made smaller in the production version.
At the back, Humble One gets a boomerang-shaped tail lamp that is connected together by three horizontal lines that run across the entire tailgate. The SUV gets a rear spoiler, as well as a splitter, which probably serves a purpose as well as giving the car a sportier look.
3. Special mention
The Humble One has an 80-square-foot engineered photovoltaic cell mounted on its roof that captures sunlight and converts it into energy. It generates enough electrical power to increase the driving range to about 96 kilometers per day.
According to the company, the Humble One will offer a range of about 805 kilometers on a full charge. What’s more, the SUV will have a maximum power output of 1020, while it will have an outstanding drag coefficient of 0.25, thanks to its aerodynamic design. When it arrives, it will make the Humble SUV one of the most aerodynamic SUVs in the world
