The RE is working on three 650cc bikes

Royal Enfield KX650 Spide Cruiser 2

Royal Enfield is planning to bring a lot of new motorcycles to the Indian market soon, and here, we have listed the upcoming 650cc models

There are lots of new motorcycles in the Royal Enfield pipeline, expected to launch in the next few months. Interestingly, the brand also plans to introduce a few 650cc models, and many people (including us) are waiting for their arrival.

The first of these upcoming 650cc models will probably be a cruiser, named ‘Super Meteor 650’. The 650cc cruiser has been undergoing road testing for some time, and spy photos have revealed a lot about it. The design will be retro-inspired, like all other RE motorcycles.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will get USD front fork, dual rear shock absorber, a semi-digital instrument cluster (with tripper navigation system), single disc brakes on both wheels (possibly with dual-channel ABS), and alloy wheels. Test models were initially seen without LED lights, but the final production model could get them.

Royal Enfield SG 650 Twin Concept

The manufacturer is also working on a 650cc Bobber, which was previewed at EICMA 2021 as the SG 650 concept. The name of this motorcycle is expected to be ‘Shotgun 650’, and it has recently been seen experimentally abroad. The test mule has a semi-digital instrument console, with tripper navigation system, USD front fork and alloy wheel.

The riding position looks quite comfortable like the Classic 350 and it also gets a unique headlamp cowl. Other than that, we’ve seen the manufacturer test a new 650cc Roadster, which is expected to be the Classic 650.

The RE Classic 650 will get USD fork along with other tripper navigation systems. We hope that the iconic headlamp cowl, including the Tiger-Eyes pilot lamp, is also provided here, although it has not yet been seen in any experimental mule.

The three motorcycles mentioned above will be powered by a 648cc, air / oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine, similar to the Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650. This motor carries 47.65 PS and 52 Nm of power and it is paired with a 6. – Speed sequential transmission.
