Thanks to the latest price correction, ‘Blade is now much more competitive in the Indian market.
No other changes to the motorcycle have been reported at this time, but we’re not complaining! The current iteration of the CBR1000RR-R is a brilliant superbike that delivers blind performance with lightning-fast handling. It is powered by a 1000cc, liquid-cooled, inline-4 petrol engine that produces 217 PS and 113 pc of power and torque, respectively.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R has a very sharp and sporty design. It features smooth-looking twin headlamps, a full front fairing, a bubble-style front visor, a flat-top fuel tank with knee recesses, clip-on handlebars, a long seat and a sharp tail. The bike also adds aerodynamic winglets to the front fairings.
This powerplant is combined with a 6-speed sequential transmission and is offered here as a slip and assist clutch standard. With a carb weight of 201 kg, the motorcycle is not too heavy compared to others in its class. The braking system has a dual 330mm disc at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear, along with a safety net of dual-channel ABS.
Honda offers a 43mm adjustable USD fork on the front and a gas-charged mono on the rear, with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends (120/70 front tires and 200/55 rear tires). In addition, the CBR1000RR-R gets a full-digital TFT instrument console, twin LED headlights, an LED taillight, a smart key and HISS (Honda Ignition Security System).
