Hyundai will host the global premiere of the facelifted Palisade SUV at the New York International Auto Show on 13 April 2022 and the event will be streamed on Hyundai USA’s official website and its Youtube channel. Prior to its debut, the updated flagship model was leaked courtesy of none other than Hyundai as the live stream Youtube thumbnail reveals most of the necessary changes.

South Korea’s auto major has been teasing Palisade Facelift for some time now and will be appearing on the same motoring show as his brother, Kia Telluride, making her debut in the updated version of Big Apple. The front fascia has a more prominent cascading front grille, consistent with the philosophy of the reverse united design.

The parametric jewel pattern design takes on a muscular look while the redesigned headlamp cluster is a busy place to walk on the front bumper with vertically stacked lights and a thick strip of vertical LED daytime running lights reworked. Other highlights are the newly designed multi-spoke wheel, a wide central air inlet with chrome inserts and a slightly tweaked bonnet.

The 2023 Hyundai Palisade is expected to get a styling revision in the rear trial with spy shots with updated LED tail lamps and a new bumper. It will likely have a split LED tail lamp design similar to the fourth-generation India-bound Tucson, and is attached to a red LED strip covering the width of the tweaked tailgate.

The changes have made the polysid more than the outgoing model. Among the various updates to the exterior, the interior will basically be maintained with the presence of a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, a wide central tunnel with horizontal air conditioning vents, buttons and dials. Premium quality materials and surfaces, etc.

For performance, the same 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 291 hp will be maintained with an all-wheel-drive system as an alternative. To comply with strict global emissions standards, it may receive a hybrid powertrain in the future.
