Tata Motors unveiled the new generation Sierra as an EV concept at the 2020 Auto Expo and is set to launch soon

Tata Motors is at the forefront of the electric car market in India, thanks to the Nexon EV and Tigor EV. Recently, the creator released a teaser video for a new EV and guess what! This is the new Sierra Evi! The concept was unveiled at the Tata Sierra EV 2020 Auto Expo, and domestic carmakers have been working on it confidentially ever since.

The upcoming electric SUV draws power from a 69 kWh battery, divided into two parts – one under the floor pan and the other under the boot floor. There are two versions available – FWD (single electric motor in front axle) and AWD (two electric motors, one in each axle). The power output will be released when the car is officially unveiled.

The length of the Tata Sierra EV is 4.1 meters, which makes it smaller than Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, etc. Features on offer include a 12.12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, iRA Plus Pro integrated car technology, 7.7-inch plasma screen digital instrument console, the world’s largest panoramic sunroof, 360-degree swivel chair for the front row and a 19-inch swivel chair. .

The new Tata Sierra EV is built on the brand’s ‘Sigma’ platform, and is said to embody the ‘Sigma Philosophy’. The high-speed warning sound will consist of a combination of grindset songs associated with the mentioned philosophy, such as turn indicators and door-opening warning sounds. Also, to improve durability, the car has more than 9,000 recycled plants. How that works, we leave your imagination.

The results of the Global NCAP crash test will also be released before the SUV launch. We contacted our sources in the UK, and they revealed that Tata Motors was so confident in the car, they only sent one test mule for testing both front effect and side effects.

Sadly, the test model had an accident on the way to the crash test facility, but its strong build quality confirms that it did no damage. It has now reached the Global NCAP Grounds, and we’ll get the safety results soon.

Tata Sierra Eve Concept-6

Tata Sierra EV is priced at Rs. 17.77 lakh for FWD model, and Rs. 23.33 lakhs for AWD model. Upon launch, it will compete with the likes of the new MG ZS EV facelift, the upcoming Hyundai Kona EV facelift, and the currently developing Maruti-Toyota electric SUV.

April 1St. A great day to have fun, and yes, we did! This is not a real news article, this was all a joke! Did we get you? Also, Tata Motors has actually recently teased a Mystery EV, which is set to unveil on April 6, so be sure to check back to find out what it is (probably an updated Nexon EV?)
