The Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine that produces a maximum of 8.7 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque.
Suzuki Motorcycle India today announced the launch of the standard version of the legendary Avenis 125 scooter. The model has been a regular feature in the top ten monthly scooter sales charts in recent months and was previously introduced with the Ride Connect version and the Race version.
The Japanese manufacturer noted that the Avenis 125 has become a high-demand product in just the third month of its nationwide delivery. To meet the expectations of the extended customer, Suzuki has now launched a new variant known as the Standard Edition and is priced at Rs. 86,500 (former showroom) – Approximately Rs. 3,000 less than other variants.
The standard version of the Avenis 125 has an external hinge type fuel cap for re-fueling, large under-seat space, motorcycle-inspired rear turn indicator, body-mounted LED headlamps and LED tail lamps. There is no change in performance, a single-cylinder 125 cc fuel-injected air-cooled engine has been used.
The Powertrain delivers a maximum of 8.7 PS of power output at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm and is paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The carb weight of Avenis 125 is 106 kg. Speaking of launches, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd.., Says:

Without race-inspired MotoGP graphics and connect features, the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition can have metallic matte fibroin gray / metallic corpse green, pearl blaze orange / glass sparkle black, metallic matte black / glass sparkle black and White / metallic matte fibroin gray.
The Suzuki Avenis 125 competes with the TVS Ntorq 125, the more expensive Aprilia SR 125, Honda Grazia 125 and Yamaha RayZR. Comes with Motorcycle-inspired split grab rails, sporty muffler covers and body graphics, quick-looking alloy wheels, Suzuki branding on the floorboards, and more.
