Near the Maruti Suzuki Jimny launch, marketing plans are being drawn up

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny is expected to launch in India soon, and marketing plans for the SUV are currently underway.

Maruti Suzuki is building a five-door / long-wheelbase version of the iconic Suzuki Jimny. According to a recent report, the car maker is already planning our marketing for the SUV in the Indian market. Regular readers will note that Jimny appeared at the 2020 Auto Expo in its current iteration (three-door version).

According to previous reports, the upcoming 5-door Jimny will be larger in size – 300mm long, with a 300mm larger wheelbase. There will also be some visual variations, such as a resized front grille, new alloy wheels, different bumpers (front and rear), and more. Currently, the 1.5L NA petrol engine under the Suzuki Jimny’s hood delivers 102 PS and 130 Nm of power and can be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
