Ola S1 Pro features suspension brakes

Ola Electric in the news again for the wrong reason; An S1 Pro recently saw front suspension brakes while riding

Last year, Ola Electric made a splash in India by launching its electric scooters – S1 and S1 Pro. Thanks to the promotion, the company has been able to secure a healthy number of pre-orders. However, since then, the manufacturer has faced many problems starting from the beginning of delivery, which has been significantly delayed.

Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Agarwal recently went on social media to reassure customers that most of the scooters have been shipped, however, many buyers are still waiting for their orders to be fulfilled. To make matters worse, scooters supplied to customers seem to be plagued by problems.

Recently, a picture of an Ola S1 Pro on the side of the road with a broken front suspension went viral on the internet. The single front fork is completely out, and the front apron also appears to have been damaged as a result. The occupant or anyone else was not immediately available for comment.

Earlier, Ola Electric had several issues with scooters. Many owners report a bug in the software that causes the scooter to suddenly turn in the opposite direction, sometimes changing direction while riding, and in some cases causing injuries and trauma. Many users have also reported that the battery died immediately and then refused to charge.

Worst of all, there have been multiple incidents where the Ola S1 Pro scooter has caught fire. This, however, is not a problem with Ola Electric limiting; Other brands of electric scooters – Okinawa, Pure EV, Jitendra EV – have made headlines even after spontaneous burning.

Bhavish Agarwal addressed the technical issues surrounding the Ola Electric Scooter via social media, noting that the manufacturer attaches utmost importance to safety and is committed to delivering high-quality products. However, such problems are constantly popping up, which is extremely worrying.
