Mercedes-AMG has teamed up with London-based Skateboard and Streetwear brand Palace to create four one-off art cars inspired by London, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo.
Palace designed a lever for a Mercedes-AMG team HRT GT3 race car that competed in last year’s Nবারrburg 24 Hours.
Starting with the Mercedes-AMG A45S, the Palace-inspired hot hatch got a ‘Tiger London’ design in honor of the vibrant and varied custom car scene in the UK in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
A new Mercedes-AMG SL63 has been given a similar makeover with ‘Sunset LA’ paintwork that presumably represents a ‘perpetual California summer’.
The GT 4-Door 63 also gets a custom design with a ‘neon fade new york’ color scheme that changes from black on the front of the car to yellow on the back.
The collection is completed by a G63 ‘Space Horse Tokyo’, which depicts a horse running through space in recognition of Japanese anime culture.
Customization doesn’t stop at the exterior because the interior features special seat upholstery colors and door panels, as well as unheardrest and LED poodle lights with individually designed floor mats, head restraints, embossed logos.
