The Hyundai Creta ‘Night Edition’ is expected to launch later this month, and it will make some aesthetic changes compared to the regular version.

The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUVs in the Indian market, though lately, it has surpassed a few more SUVs in terms of sales. Crater is expected to launch a new special edition called ‘Knight Edition’ in South Korean car giant India to increase excitement and consumer interest.

Compared to the standard Hyundai Crater, the upcoming ‘Night Edition’ will bring some visual changes to the exterior and interior. The Special Edition SUV will get a new front grille (glossy black with red inserts), dark metal-finished alloy wheels. A gloss black finish will be applied to the bash plates (front and back), side seal garnish, roof rails and ORVMs.

The signature lightning pressure on the crater, which surrounds the roof and covers the C-pillars, will also be painted in gorgeous black. For extra sport, the calipers on the front disc brakes will be painted bright red. For the interior, the cabin will have a full-black theme, with colorful inserts on the AC vents. You will find colorful stitching for the upholstery of the seat and the steering wheel wrapped in leather.

Also, to distinguish this model from the standard version, there will be a ‘Knight version’ symbol on the tailgate. We expect the Knight version to be based on the Hyundai Crater top-spec trim (s), which we see with the Kia Celtos X-Line, Tata Harrier Dark Edition, and more.

Our sources could not confirm at this time which engine and transmission options will be available in the new special edition SUV. The standard Hyundai Creta is available in the Indian market with three engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter NA petrol mill, which delivers 115 PS and 144 Nm of power It can be with a 6-speed MT or a CVT

Hyundai Creta is currently priced at Rs. 10.23 lakhs to Rs. 17.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The price of the SUV is expected to go up further if the ‘Night Edition’ variant is added to its range.
