Hyundai Creta Knight Edition – Top change to Standard Edition

The Hyundai Creta gets a special ‘Night Edition’ version in India, and here, we’ve listed all its differences from the standard SUV.

Hyundai Motors has launched Creta Knight Edition, a special edition of Creta in India. This new version of the SUV has some aesthetic changes compared to the regular version, but there are no mechanical changes. The ‘Night Edition’ certainly looks like an interesting proposition for people who want a little exclusivity with their crater.

Here. We’ve listed four major differences between the standard Hyundai Creta and its Knight version.

Exterior design

Hyundai Creta Knight Edition has a black gloss finish on skid plates (front and back), side seal garnish and roof rails. The Lightning Arch C-Pillar and the front grille are also painted in bright black, and the latter is highlighted in red. The alloy wheels have a dark metallic finish and the front brake calipers are painted red. Also, the Telgate has a ‘Night Edition’ symbol.

Interior styling

The Knight version has the same cabin design as the standard crater. However, it gets a full-black interior color theme, with colorful highlights on the AC vents. The special edition SUV also gets colorful stitching for upholstery and steering wheel wrap.

Available with only two trim options

Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is available in two trim levels – S + and SX (O). The ‘S +’ trim gets some extra features on top of the standard crater ‘S’ trim, including the Trio-beam LED headlamp (with Crescent Glow LED DRL), alloy wheel, a panoramic sunroof and an LED reading lamp. The ‘SX (O)’ trim has the same tool list as the standard version of the same trim level.

Only available with two engine options

The Knight version has only two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter NA petrol mill (115 PS / 144 Nm), available with a choice between a 5-speed MT and a CVT. The second is a 1.5L turbo-diesel motor (115 PS / 250 Nm), which can be mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.

Manual transmission is offered only on the ‘S +’ trim, while the ‘SX (O)’ trim only gets automatic transmission options with both engines.

Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is priced at Rs. 13.35 lakhs to 18.01 lakhs. For standard crater, its price starts from Rs. 10.28 lakhs to Rs. 17.87 lakhs (all prices mentioned ex-showroom, New Delhi).
