Toyota has added a new model in the form of 2023 GR Corolla to its growing GR lineup. The Hot Hatch combines a 300-hp inline-3, 6-speed manual and all-wheel drive, and will go on sale later this year.

Toyota has also announced a one-make race series for the United States, built around its GR86 sports car. The GR Cup could be called, the new series will start next year and will host seven rounds in the opening season.

Mercedes-Benz started selling a redesigned S-Class last year and now the high-performance version from the Mercedes-Benz AMG has been tested. This time the super sedan will have a plug-in hybrid powertrain that will deliver around 700 hp, and a more powerful version is expected at a later date, with more than 800 hp.
