ডkoda posted its highest monthly sales in March 2022, with sales of 5,608 units compared to 1,159 units, an increase of 383.6 percent.

The Squadron India division recorded its highest monthly sales in March 2022 as 5,608 units were sold against 1,159 units sold in the same period of 2021, an increase of 383.8 per cent YoY volume (previously 4,923 units in 2012). Also, the Czech Republic Auto Major achieved a quarterly total of 13,120 units in the first quarter of 2022 (January to March 2022 period) with a five-fold increase.

This was the highest sales recorded by the brand in a single quarter. The increase in volume can be attributed to the good reception for the Kushak Midsize SUV and the recently launched Slavia Midsize sedan. Skoda took over the India 2.0 project a few years ago with an investment of over one billion euros locally between 2019 and 2021.

The investment has created the MQB A0 IN platform with more than 90 percent local content as the ডkoda Kushak has become the first product to emerge from the VW Group’s revitalization strategy. The Kushaq was launched in June 2021 and emerged as a fast seller for the company. It was followed by his sibling, Volkswagen Taigun, in September 2021.
